Photography is so much more than a creative outlet for me. It's my soul-stirring expression, my comfort, my connector with people and nature, my joy.
I received my first camera as a high school graduation gift - a Kodak Instamatic. My favorite thing to do that following year was to climb the hills behind our home in Whittier, CA, and shoot landscape images of the 270° view below. I was hooked.
Throughout the years, my skills and interests have grown as a mother, grandmother, teacher, and traveler, always wanting to capture images of the people and landscapes of the world in unique ways, and to share them with others. As an educator, I love telling stories, and visiting remnants of history, to better understand the present.
Through my domestic and international travels, I am passionate about building bridges... one person, one location at a time. My sincere wish is that these images will help you gain a new perspective of our amazing world. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
